The party argues that these savings should have been passed on to the people, reducing electricity tariffs instead of increasing them.

The protests aim to pressurize the government to take immediate action in providing relief to the people suffering from economic burdens and high utility bills. Party leaders will address the gatherings, calling for policy changes to reduce inflation and ensure affordable electricity rates.

In addition to Karachi, Jamaat-e-Islami has planned similar protests in Lahore, Peshawar, and Quetta. The demonstrations are expected to draw large crowds as the public expresses its frustration over high electricity costs.
