Saudi Arabia has officially suspended the one-year multiple-entry visa facility for 14 countries, including Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Egypt, and Indonesia. The new visa policy will now allow only single-entry visas for travelers.
Saudi Arabia’s New Visa Policy 2025
As per the latest announcement, Saudi authorities have discontinued the issuance of one-year multiple-entry visas for business, tourism, and family visits. The new rules came into effect on February 1, 2025.
Now, individuals traveling to Saudi Arabia from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Algeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Morocco, Nigeria, Sudan, Tunisia, and Yemen can only apply for a single-entry visa with a 30-day validity.
Reason Behind Visa Policy Changes
According to Saudi officials, this decision aims to prevent unauthorized Hajj by visitors who misuse long-term visas. Many individuals were reportedly using multiple-entry visas to perform Hajj illegally, bypassing the official Hajj quota set for each country.
How to Apply for a Saudi Visa from Pakistan?
Under the new policy, applicants from Pakistan must follow these steps:
- Apply for a single-entry Saudi visa
- Submit biometric verification and required documents at Etimad Visa Centers
- Ensure all travel and accommodation arrangements comply with Saudi visa regulations
Saudi Arabia Tightens Hajj Regulations
Saudi Arabia is making strict policy changes to manage the Hajj quota effectively. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has opened registrations for Hajj 2025, allowing Saudi residents and citizens to apply through the Nusuk app or the official government portal.
This change in Saudi visa policy will impact travelers who frequently visit the country for business, tourism, or family visits. Individuals planning to travel to Saudi Arabia from Pakistan and other affected countries should carefully review the new rules before applying for a visa.
