Which Accounts Are Subject to Zakat Deduction?
As per the notification, Zakat will be applicable to the following types of accounts:
- Savings Accounts
- Profit and Loss Sharing Accounts (PLS)
- Other interest-bearing accounts
However, current accounts will remain exempt from Zakat deduction.
