As Eidul Adha 2025 approaches, Asia’s largest temporary cattle market has been established at the Northern Bypass in Karachi, attracting traders and buyers from across the country. Located in Taiser Town, the vast market spans over 1,000 acres, making it the biggest of its kind in the region.
According to market administrator Shahab Ali, preparations for the Karachi cattle market 2025 began soon after Eidul Fitr, significantly earlier than previous years to ensure smooth arrangements for the upcoming festival.
Improved Facilities at Karachi Cattle Market 2025
Several improvements have been introduced this year to enhance the visitor experience. One major update includes a 50% reduction in parking fees compared to 2024. Additionally, traders are now permitted to bring their own animal fodder, reducing overall expenses.
To promote animal health and welfare, the market will offer free veterinary check-ups to ensure sacrificial animals meet religious and health standards. Furthermore, each large animal will be provided with 30 liters of clean water daily, while smaller animals will receive 8 liters—all at no cost.
