Former Pakistan cricket star Mohammad Yousuf has officially resigned from his role as batting coach at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), according to reliable sources.
Yousuf, who previously served in the Pakistan team management during the New Zealand tour, was not part of the coaching setup for the recent home series against Bangladesh. His resignation has been submitted to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), ending his recent stint with the national setup.
Sources close to the matter revealed that Mohammad Yousuf stepped down due to personal commitments. His decision marks the end of his latest involvement in Pakistan’s coaching structure, where he contributed to nurturing young batting talent.
Yousuf, a former batting legend with over 17,000 international runs to his name, had been associated with the NCA to guide the next generation of Pakistani cricketers.
This resignation comes at a time when the PCB is evaluating its coaching framework and preparing for future international assignments.
