MPA Hidayat-ur-Rehman’s Son Missing in Karachi, Found Safe in Balochistan

Karachi missing child update: Abdul Basit, a 13-year-old madrassa student from Saudabad, found safe in Gwadar, Balochistan. He is the son of Jamaat-e-Islami leader and Balochistan Assembly member Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman.

Abdul Basit left his madrassa in Saudabad, Karachi, on Tuesday and expected to spend the holiday period with relatives in Orangi Town, Khairabad. When he did not arrive, his family initiated a search. With no results, a missing person report filed at the Saudabad police station.

The incident drew attention from the Chief Minister of Sindh, who directed law enforcement to take immediate action. The case was registered and search efforts intensified across Karachi.

On Wednesday, Abdul Basit reached his hometown in Gwadar safely. His father, Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman, confirmed the development and thanked all those involved in the recovery efforts, including the Chief Ministers of Sindh and Balochistan, SSP Korangi Karachi, Jamaat-e-Islami, and Haq Do Tehreek representatives.

The case highlights prompt action by authorities in Karachi missing child cases and the importance of community involvement in early response to child disappearances. Abdul Basit’s return adds to recent updates in Pakistan child safety and law enforcement tracking efforts.
