The Pakistan Meteorological Department (Met Office Islamabad) has issued a weather alert for southern Balochistan and lower Sindh. Intermittent light to moderate rain, wind, and thundershowers expected in Karachi, Hyderabad, Dadu, Shaheed Benazirabad, Thatta, Badin, Sajawal, Sanghar, Umerkot, Tharparkar, Khuzdar, Bella, and Lasbela during the next one to four hours.
According to the latest update issued at 11:07 AM on 27 June 2025, residents of these areas are advised to take precautionary measures during the rain and thunderstorm activity.
