The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued an NDMA alert for heavy monsoon rains and potential flooding across Pakistan from 29 June to 5 July. The NDMA weather advisory warns of urban flooding, landslides, and storm risks in various regions.

Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, and Potohar, including Abbottabad, Mansehra, Haripur, Balakot, Murree, and Galiyat, heavy rains may cause flash floods and landslides.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Kohat, Swat, Chitral, Dera Ismail Khan, Bannu, and Mardan face urban flooding and rising water levels in the Kabul and Swat rivers.
Punjab: Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Narowal, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Sheikhupura, and Kasur are at risk of flooding in low-lying areas.
Sindh: Karachi, Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, Sujawal, Dadu, and Jamshoro may experience heavy rain from 2 to 5 July, leading to urban flooding.
Hazara: Malakand, Azad Kashmir, and Pir Panjal, flash floods and landslides are expected.

NDMA urges the public to avoid crossing streams during heavy rain. There is a risk of weak structures, mud walls, electric poles, and billboards collapsing. Storms may reduce visibility and cause road accidents. Water accumulation can disrupt traffic, and power outages may occur.
