The federal government is likely to raise petrol and diesel prices in the upcoming fortnightly review on July 15, 2025. As per estimates by Arif Habib Limited research report, petrol prices may rise by Rs. 3 per liter, reaching Rs. 269.80. Diesel prices are expected to go up by Rs. 0.78 per liter to Rs. 273.80.
The projected increase is attributed to a higher premium on petrol in the international market. The final decision will be announced by the Ministry of Finance following its routine price review based on global oil trends and exchange rate movements.
This expected revision falls under the government’s regular fuel price adjustment cycle conducted on the 1st and 16th of each month.
