Jasmeen Manzoor, a senior Pakistani journalist, accused her husband of domestic violence by releasing photographs as well as a list of tweets in which she shared proofs of abuse. The incident has apparently taken place on the evening of June 4, 2025, when Jasmeen shared graphic pictures with inflamed eye and bruised lips on her official X (formerly Twitter) accounts.
In her first tweet, she wrote:
“This is me. Yes, this is my story, my life destroyed by a violent man. I leave my justice to Allah.”
She followed up with several more tweets, stating:
Jasmeen also tagged Elon Musk, requesting help from X’s leadership in raising awareness
No FIR or legal complaint has been confirmed as of July 16, 2025. The identity of her husband remains undisclosed. There has been no public response from the accused.
