7 Pakistani Umrah Pilgrims Die in Road Accident on Arafat–Madinah Route

Seven Pakistani nationals from Buner district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, died and six others were injured in a road accident in Saudi Arabia after performing Umrah. The incident occurred during travel from Arafat to Madinah.

According to family sources, a group of 13 people from Dagai Totali, Buner, was returning from Umrah when their vehicle met with an accident. All passengers belonged to the family of Umar Bacha. The deceased include men, women, and children from the same extended family.

The bodies will be buried in Saudi Arabia, and funeral prayers are scheduled for tonight. Injured individuals are being treated in Saudi hospitals.

Residents in Buner confirmed the group had travelled to Saudi Arabia for Umrah. News of the accident has spread in the Dagai Totali area, where relatives and community members have gathered for condolence.
