Gold Rate in Pakistan Stays Near Peak Levels After Minor Decline

Karachi – August 11, 2025: The 24-karat gold price in Pakistan hit a slight decline of Rs. 300 per tola on Saturday, settling at Rs. 362,400, compared to Rs. 362,700 on the previous trading day, according to data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.

Despite the fall, gold prices remain near their record high of Rs. 364,900 per tola, reached earlier this year.

Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs. 257, now priced at Rs. 310,699, down from Rs. 310,956. The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also declined, decreasing by Rs. 236 to Rs. 284,817, compared to Rs. 285,053 previously.

Internationally, the global price of gold has also slowed by $3 to the current rate of $3,397 per ounce, compared to the previous trade of 3,400 per ounce. The prices of silver also dropped marginally by 0.09 dollar, to settle at 38.31 per ounce as compared to the earlier rate of 38.40.

The prices of gold have been fluctuating because of unstable international trends, exchange rates and investor local and international sentiment.
