Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Gains 703 Points, Restores 147,000 Level

The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) posted a strong gain on the last trading day of the week, pushing the benchmark KSE-100 Index above the 147,000-point level.

The PSX KSE-100 Index climbed 703 points to close at 147,232. During intraday trading, the Pakistan Stock Exchange index also touched 147,346 points, its highest level of the day.

The market data indicated that the Pakistan stock exchange recorded constant up surges within the trading session and the PSX stocks were being traded in large volumes by the investors.

The PSX KSE-100 Index closed at 146,529 points on Wednesday under pressure. The rebound in Pakistan Stock Exchange can be associated with positioning of the investors in view of the impending trading week.

The PSX will reopen on the next business day, with traders and analysts closely monitoring Pakistan Stock Exchange trends in the sessions ahead.
