Sindh Government and Arts Council Pakistan organized the Atif Aslam concert in Karachi as part of the “Marka-e-Haq” and Independence Day celebrations. Alongside Atif Aslam concert performances, the event also featured Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Sajjad Ali, Hadiqa Kiani, Kaifi Khalil, Khumariyaan, and Tufail Sanjrani. It concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony and fireworks to mark Pakistan’s Independence Day.
During the performance, Atif Aslam showed no visible signs of grief over the passing of the Atif Aslam father. His performance at the 14 August concert, in Karachi was widely discussed on social media with videos and pictures of the concert going viral.
