Preparations are underway for the “Karachi Rights March” announced by Jamaat-e-Islami. The march is on Sunday, August 31, at 3 PM, starting from Karachi Press Club and moving towards the Chief Minister’s House.
The protest organized to demand legal and constitutional rights for Karachi’s population and to register opposition against the federal and provincial governments and the sitting mayor. Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Ameer Munim Zafar Khan will lead the demonstration.

Karachi Traffic Police has not issued any official traffic plan for the upcoming Jamaat e Islami protest in Karachi. However, based on previous demonstrations, commuters should expect road closures and diversions on routes connecting Karachi Press Club to the Chief Minister’s House.
