The nation is observing the 77th death anniversary of Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah today, Thursday, 11 September. Ceremonies at government and private levels are being held across Pakistan to pay tribute to the Founder of the Nation.
Special prayers were offered in mosques for Quaid e Azam’s soul and for the peace and stability of Pakistan. Quran recitation was held, and Fateha was offered. Throughout the country, organizations are arranging seminars, discussions, and remembrance programs marking the 11 Sep anniversary.
President Asif Ali Zardari called on the nation to follow Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s vision of justice, equality, democracy, and tolerance. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that Quaid’s leadership and political struggle remain a guide for future generations.
Radio Pakistan and Pakistan television are running special programs emphasizing the political contribution by Quaid e Azam, and his message of unity, faith and discipline. Programs are devoted to the historical background and significance of his principles in 2025.
On 11 September, political leaders, representatives of the armed forces, and citizens came to Mazar e Quaid. Wreaths of flowers were also placed and prayers were recited. Karachi also saw the events organized in several political, social, and educational institutions devoted to the death anniversary of Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
From Islamabad to Karachi, remembrance ceremonies are part of the national schedule on 11 Sep 2025. Educational institutions, cultural forums, and civic organizations conducted awareness sessions on Quaid e Azam’s contribution in the creation of Pakistan.
