Karachi rain today brought light showers early morning in II Chundrigar Road, Saddar, and Garden areas, after which the weather turned pleasant.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the Karachi weather update for the next 24 hours suggests partly cloudy and humid conditions. The maximum Karachi temperature is expected to stay between 31°C and 33°C, while the minimum recorded during the last 24 hours was 27°C.
The Pakistan weather forecast indicates intermittent rainfall in the northern areas of the country from today until September 19. Heavy rain is likely in parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, and Punjab.
Most parts of Sindh are expected to remain dry, although coastal regions may stay partly cloudy. Balochistan is also likely to see partly cloudy weather during this period.
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has issued an alert in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa over the risk of glacial lake outburst floods due to expected rainfall.
