Jamaat-e-Islami Protest Today: To Mark Two Years of Hamas’ Al-Aqsa Storm

On the call of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Ameer, Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, Jamaat-e-Islami protest today took place across Pakistan, including major gatherings in Karachi, to mark two years since Hamas launched “Operation Al-Aqsa Storm.” The protests began at 11 a.m. under the banner of the Global Day of Protest against Israel.

The demonstrations aimed to denounce Israeli actions in Gaza and highlight what Jamaat-e-Islami described as U.S.-backed Israeli aggression. The rallies also expressed full solidarity with the people of Gaza and Palestine.

Nationwide Participation in Jamaat-e-Islami Protest Today

Students, lawyers, traders, religious scholars, doctors, engineers, and workers from various sectors participated in the Jamaat-e-Islami protest today across cities, voicing opposition to Israel’s ongoing military actions in Palestine.

In Karachi, the main event held at Shahrah-e-Faisal, where a large number of people attended the “Gaza March.” The rally, according to Jamaat-e-Islami representatives, reflected the unity of the Muslim Ummah and Pakistan’s continued support for the Palestinian cause.

Addressing the gathering, Munim Zafar Khan thanked Karachi’s citizens for their participation in the massive Gaza March. He said the turnout proved that Karachi remains “the heart of the Muslim Ummah.”

He noted that men, women, youth, and professionals joined together to reject Israel’s occupation of Palestinian lands. The march sent what Jamaat-e-Islami leaders called a strong message of resistance and unity.

Speakers reiterated Pakistan’s official stance, saying that any recognition of Israel would go against the country’s founding principles. They recalled that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah consistently termed Israel an illegitimate state and opposed its recognition.

The participants of Jamaat-e-Islami protest today emphasized that Pakistan’s national position remains unchanged and any deviation from it, seen as betrayal of the Palestinian cause.

The Jamaat-e-Islami protest today coincided with the Global Day of Protest marking the second anniversary of Hamas’ Al-Aqsa Storm operation. Demonstrations across Pakistan held to reaffirm solidarity with Gaza and to oppose what protestors called the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Palestine.
