Warner Bros. Discovery introduced HBO Max in Pakistan to expand it to 14 markets in the Asia-Pacific. The streaming service, which was formerly called Max, has officially changed its name back to HBO Max in all regions of the world. It was launched in Pakistan on October 15, 2025, and it can be accessed directly in web and mobile applications.
In July 2025, HBO Max began the global rebranding campaign which reverted HBO Max to its original name of HBO Max, but phase out the temporary name Max.

At launch, HBO Max Pakistan includes titles from HBO Originals, Warner Bros. Studios, DC, and Discovery. The initial catalog includes popular shows and films like Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, The Last of Us, The Penguin, Harry Potter, and The Matrix.
Additional content, such as Friends and The Big Bang Theory, is expected to arrive by early 2026. Users in Pakistan can stream on multiple devices, including smart TVs, mobile apps, and browsers.

HBOMax Pakistan has an Android, iOS and Samsung and LG smart TV streaming. It has offline downloads, multi profile and regional payments. The platform can also be used continuously even when one is traveling through other regions that are supported.
