Pakistani film actor, singer and television host Fakhr-e-Alam has announced the death of his father, Syed Ejaz Alam (S.E. Alam) at the beginning of the day, Thursday, in Lahore.
Fakhr-e-Alam posted to his official facebook account:
The post states that the funeral (Janaza) is going to take place today, Thursday, October 30, at 6 PM, at 97-H, Model Town, Lahore.
S.E. Alam, once the Director General Finance at Karachi Port Trust (KPT) and also an associate of Foreign Service of Pakistan, was also a respected personality; known to have been very professional and honest in his conduct. He had in 2006 reportedly gone through a heart bypass surgery in Karachi following a heart attack.
Fakhr-e-Alam and his brothers Rafey Alam, Azaam Alam, Raed Alam, and Radmeer Alam asked prayers on the eternal peace of their deceased father.
