Pakistan Railways has announced new passenger train schedule of trains leaving Lahore and Faisalabad to Karachi, Quetta, Rawalpindi and other main cities. There will be delays in some trains and others will be on schedule as usual passenger trains.
This is a 2-hour 15-minute delay with the Karakoram Express (42-Down) departing Lahore at 5:15 PM rather than 3:00 PM. Likewise, the Pak Business Express (34-Down) leaves at 7:00 PM and in 2 hours 30 minutes later than it used to depart at 4.30 PM in its former passenger train schedule.
The Karachi Express (16-Down) still leaves Lahore at 6:00 PM on time. Shah Hussain Express (44-Down) passengers will be shifted to Green Line (6-Down) which leaves at 8:40 PM. Passengers are recommended to be at the airport at least an hour before flight to book into the back-up flight.
The rest of the trains going to Karachi, Quetta, Rawalpindi, etc will run as per the schedule of their passenger trains.
Before traveling, passengers must ensure that they look at the revised passenger train time table. Being on schedule will avoid any delays and the smooth boarding. Pakistan Railways encourages its clients to keep up with the changes in schedule.
