BAIC BJ40 Plus is now available for pre-booking in Pakistan. The 4WD off-roading jeep is one of the most anticipated vehicles in the country. Sazgar-BAIC introduces it as a locally assembled version. The official bookings for the car start this week.
It will be the first product launched in Pakistan by the Sazgar-BAIC joint venture as a result of Greenfield investment. Before the official launch, test production at the Sazgar-BAIC plant began in May 2021, with locally assembled units rolling off the assembly lines.
It is an off-road vehicle with a ladder-frame chassis, plenty of ground clearance, and a reasonable approach angle. Under the hood, sits a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine producing 218 hp and 270 Nm of torque and mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The vehicle has a dual-tone interior, a digital speedometer, a detachable roof, dual airbags, ABS+EBD, a rear anti-spin differential, a 7-inch touchscreen multimedia system with DVD/ MP3/ AUX/ USB, rear parking sensors, and an engine immobilizer, among other features.
BAIC BJ40 Plus Price in Pakistan
BAIC BJ40 Plus has an official price of Rs. 7,685,000 and a booking price of Rs. 1.5 million. The delivery time is 18 to 24 weeks or 4 to 6 months after the reservation. Moreover, the pre-booking form for the vehicle is now available on the BAIC Pakistan website.
