Regal Automobiles is set to start new electric and hybrid automobiles in Pakistan. The company teased the arrival of the EV lineup on its social media pages with a preview.
The vehicle depicted in the post is the Seres S3, an all-electric subcompact crossover SUV that borrows the design and architecture of the DFSK Glory 500. In Pakistan, it currently has only one strong competition: the MG ZS EV.

It is powered by a single electric motor on the front axle and a 52 kWh rechargeable battery in the back. The electric motor generates 160 hp and 300 torques in Nm and has a range of 230 to 405 kilometers depending on driving skills.
Features of Seres S3:
- Voice control
- Auto-on headlights
- Parking brake electronic
- Assist with braking
- Sunroof with panoramic views
- 7-inch floating touchscreen
- steering wheel with multiple functions
- Airbags on both sides
- ABS (Anti-lock Braking System)
- Reverse vehicle assistance
- Lane-keeping assistance from ADAS
- Monitoring for blind spots
- Forward collision alert
- Cruise control with adaptive settings
- Automatic emergency braking

The Seres S3 has a starting price of Rs. 5 million in China. It is unknown whether Regal Automobiles will offer the Seres S3 in Pakistan as a completely built-up (CBU) import or as a locally assembled vehicle. In both cases, however, the price in Pakistan will almost certainly be much higher due to the imposition of import taxes.
