Kia Motors has announced a new price for its popular crossover, the Stonic, now set at Rs 6,028,000. This marks a notable rise from its recent discounted price of Rs 4,767,000, which had been introduced to boost sales.
In an effort to attract budget-conscious buyers, Kia had previously slashed the Stonic’s price from Rs 6,280,000 to Rs 4,767,000. This significant reduction led to a surge in demand, resulting in Kia temporarily halting bookings due to overwhelming customer response.

However, in a surprising turn of events, Kia has now reopened Stonic bookings with a substantial price increase. The new price tag of Rs 6,028,000 is higher than the previous discounted rate but remains undisclosed for future adjustments.
Starting from July 1, all new orders will be scheduled for delivery in December 2024 or later, with a partial payment of Rs 2.5 million required at the time of booking. Kia has also implemented a price lock for orders with partial payments, ensuring that customers who order for December 2024 and January 2025 deliveries will not be affected by price changes. However, any depreciation of the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar or increased import duties and taxes will be the customer’s responsibility at the time of delivery.

This price lock aims to provide some stability for buyers amidst the fluctuating economic conditions. Kia’s strategic pricing decisions reflect their response to market demands and economic factors, making the Stonic a noteworthy contender in the crossover market.
For potential buyers, the new price point may seem steep compared to the earlier discounted rate, but it underscores the vehicle’s value and Kia’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. As Kia navigates these price adjustments, the Stonic remains a popular choice for those seeking a reliable and stylish crossover.
