MG Motor Pakistan has announced a significant price reduction for its locally assembled MG HS PHEV, set to take effect from March 1, 2025. This decision follows an overwhelming response received at the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) 2024.
MG HS PHEV Price Reduction Announced
In an official announcement on social media, MG Pakistan expressed gratitude for the enthusiastic feedback from customers. The company stated, “Your incredible love and overwhelming feedback cannot be ignored. That’s why we are introducing a special advantage price, as MG always rewards its fans.”
With the new “Advantage Price” taking effect in March 2025, the MG HS PHEV will now cost Rs. 9,699,000 instead of its previous price of Rs. 9,899,000, reflecting a reduction of Rs. 200,000.
MG HS PHEV Price History & Competitive Edge
When MG Pakistan initially launched the MG HS PHEV, the company had already provided an introductory discount of Rs. 400,000. With this latest reduction, the vehicle becomes even more competitively priced in Pakistan’s hybrid SUV segment.
The latest-generation MG HS PHEV is being locally assembled and comes with several upgrades over the first-generation model. Competing with the Haval H6 HEV and Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid, this plug-in hybrid SUV offers a fuel economy of up to 58 km/l under ideal conditions. However, on Pakistani roads, the expected fuel efficiency ranges between 28-35 km/l, making it one of the most fuel-efficient options in its category.
