Toyota Launches Corolla Altis 12th-Gen Facelift in Thailand

Toyota Altis Refreshed with New Enhancements to Meet Customer Demands

In an exciting development, Toyota Thailand has officially introduced the facelifted version of the 12th generation Toyota Corolla Altis. This mid-year refresh aims to elevate the Altis’ appeal with a range of upgrades across its four available variants. Despite the model being launched in 2019, Toyota continues to invest in improvements to cater to evolving customer preferences. However, the highly anticipated launch of the hybrid Corolla Altis in Pakistan has experienced delays due to the country’s unstable economic and political climate.

1.6 G Variant

One of the variants, the 1.6 G, now offers several enticing features, including:

  • A sleek new front grille that adds a touch of elegance
  • Stylish 16-inch alloy wheels that enhance the overall aesthetic
  • An upgraded 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support for seamless smartphone integration
  • Convenient 60:40 adjustable rear seats to optimize passenger and cargo space
  • Added safety features such as a back guide monitor and back sonar
  • Rear air conditioning to ensure passenger comfort
  • Rear USB Type-C ports for easy connectivity
  • Smart Entry for hassle-free access

The price of the 1.6 G variant has increased by Rs. 15,000 Baht (PKR. 122,190) from its pre-facelift price of 894,000 Baht (PKR 7,282,550).

1.8 Sport Variant

Toyota has also upgraded the 1.8 Sport variant, introducing the following enhancements:

  • Eye-catching LED projector headlights and Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) for enhanced visibility
  • A new front grille that exudes a sporty and modern vibe
  • LED fog lamps to improve visibility in adverse weather conditions
  • Striking 17-inch alloy wheels that elevate the car’s overall stance
  • Toyota Safety Sense features, including Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC), Automatic High Beam (AHB), Pre-Collision System (PCS), Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist (LDA), and Lane Tracing Assist (LTA), to enhance driver safety and confidence on the road

The 1.8 Sport variant has also experienced a price increase of Rs. 15,000 Baht (PKR 122,190), with the previous price set at 979,000 Baht (PKR 7,974,963).

GR Sport Variant

For those seeking a more exhilarating driving experience, Toyota introduces the GR Sport variant, which boasts the following upgrades:

  • A refreshed front grille that exudes a bold and dynamic look
  • Striking 17-inch alloy wheels that command attention on the road
  • A Push Start button adorned with the iconic GR logo
  • An impressive 12.3-inch full digital meter with a multi-information display, offering customizable display options such as Casual, Smart, Tough, and Sporty modes
  • A 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto support, providing seamless smartphone integration
  • Dual-zone climate control for personalized comfort
  • Smart entry for added convenience
  • Head-up display to keep vital information within the driver’s line of sight
  • A wireless charger for hassle-free charging of compatible devices
  • Enhanced EPS tuning, new shock absorbers, and coil springs for improved handling and ride quality
  • A rear bar stabilizer for enhanced stability during cornering

Similar to the other variants, the GR Sport variant has seen a price increase of Rs. 15,000
