Pakistan Auto show is commencing later this month and upcoming Changan Cars will also be at display among others. Master Changan Master Motors has achieved more dominance in Pakistan in the previous two years. Particularly after the launch of the Alsvin Sedan and Karvaan MPV, which has resulted in increasing the brand’s sales and attention. Here is the complete list of Changan Cars which the brand might display at the Auto Show.
Changan Uni-T
Changan Uni-T is a compact crossover SUV in the C-Segment that competes with the Kia Sportage, Hyundai Tucson, Proton X70, MG HS, Haval Jolion, and other SUVs in the same segment. A 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine with 177 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque powers it. A 7-speed DCT automatic transmission sends all of the power to the front wheels or all four wheels (depending on the variation).
Similarly, the vehicle sports with several advance features, including level-3 automated driving technology. Parking sensors (front and rear), a rear-view camera, a tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS), an anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA) technology, Traction Control, and Electronic Stability Control are all included as standard features (ESC). Moreover, the company is yet to reveal the official launch date and Changan Uni-T price in Pakistan.
Changan Uni-K
Changan has positioned this midsize crossover luxury SUV. It competes against the Porsche Cayenne, Jaguar F-Pace, and others in the same class. Anyhow, the SUV is driven by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine with 229 horsepower and 360 Nm of torque. It has an eight-speed automatic transmission that transmits power to all four wheels. Although, the brand has imported a CBU unit for testing, the Changan Uni-K price in Pakistan may get revealed soon.
Oshan X7
The Oshan X7 is a midsize crossover SUV. It competes with the Kia Sorento, Hyundai Santa Fe, and Toyota Fortuner in the midsize crossover SUV segment. Since Changan’s Oshan sub-brand has positioned it as an upmarket SUV. It comes with two 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine options for the international market. The base model produces 178 horsepower and torque of 265 Nm. Since Master Changan Motors Limited (MCML) is planning to launch the X7 in Pakistan in the next couple of months. However, It may reveal the Oshan X7 price in Pakistan soon.
Changan hunter
This pickup truck competes with the Toyota Hilux, Isuzu D-Max, and MG Extender in the midsize pickup truck segment. It comes with three engines in the international market: a 1.9-liter 4-cylinder turbo-diesel engine with 150 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with 218 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque, and a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder turbo-diesel engine with 150 horsepower and 360 Nm of torque.
A 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission drives all four wheels. Aside from that, it has standard safety and convenience features like a reversing camera, Cruise Control, hill-start assist, and descent control, ABS brakes with EBD and BA technology, multiple drive modes, various driver-assist features, modern infotainment, and driver’s display units, as well as rear AC vents.
