Yamaha Motorcycle Prices Surge by Rs. 17,000 Amidst Economic Challenges
In a further blow to motorcycle enthusiasts and potential buyers, Yamaha Motor Pakistan has once again raised the prices of their motorcycles. This latest price hike, effective from September 6, 2023, marks the fifth significant increase in the last year.
New Price Adjustments for Yamaha Motorcycles:
- Yamaha YB125Z (Red/Black): The price has surged by Rs. 15,500, reaching a new price of Rs. 396,000, up from the previous Rs. 380,500.
- Yamaha YB125Z-DX (Red/Blue/Black): Buyers will now have to pay Rs. 423,500 for this model, an increase of Rs. 26,500 from the previous Rs. 408,500.
- Yamaha YBR 125 (Red/Blue/Black): This model has seen a significant jump of Rs. 16,500, bringing the price to Rs. 435,000 compared to the previous Rs. 419,000.
- Yamaha YBR125G (Red/Black): With an increase of Rs. 17,000, the new price stands at Rs. 453,000, up from the previous Rs. 436,000.
- Yamaha YBR125G (Matt Dark Gray/Matt Orange): The new price for this variant is Rs. 456,000, reflecting a rise of Rs. 17,000 from the previous rate of Rs. 439,000.
Yamaha Pakistan’s decision to implement this latest round of price hikes comes amidst ongoing economic challenges in the country. In the past year alone, the company has raised prices on seven occasions, making it increasingly difficult for potential buyers to afford new motorcycles.
Industry experts and dealers are now speculating that further price adjustments may be on the horizon as economic instability continues to impact the auto industry.
Citizens have expressed their concerns over these continuous price increases, and many have called upon the government to address the issue. However, as of now, there has been no response from the authorities regarding this matter.
