Gold Price in Pakistan Drops by Rs. 3,000 per Tola

Gold price in Pakistan saw a major downfall today, with 24-karat gold price cut to Rs. 3,000 per tola, Noted by All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA).

According to the recent news:

  • Gold Rate (24K per tola): 351,500 (Decrease 3,000/- rupees)
  • Gold Rate (24K per 10 grams): Rs. 301,354 (Decrease Rs. 2,572)
  • Gold Rate (22K per 10 grams): Rs. 276,251 (Decrease Rs. 2,357)

The prices of gold also decreased in the international market by $33 to stand at 3,292 per output per ounce in the market.

Alternatively, the price of silver in Pakistan did not change:

  • Silver Rate (24K per tola): Rs 3,841
  • Silver Price (24K per 10 grams): Rs, 3293.
  • International Silver Price: 36.57 dollars on ounce

The current gold prices have been set to be in tune with the interbank exchange rates and the fall can be attributed to the fluctuation in the global market as well as the changes of local currency.
