The Office of Issue is the State Bank of Pakistan Banking Services Corporation (SBP BSC) Office and authorized conventional banks from where the Premium Prize Bond is issued, but the premium prize bond is not a product of the State Bank of Pakistan. The Premium Prize Bond Scheme is initiated by the Central Directorate of National Savings (CDNS) and Bonds are issued as Central Government Debt. All policy-related matters/rules about this scheme are devised by the CDNS in coordination with SBP BSC. SBP BSC acts as an agent to the Government for the management of this scheme.
For some time, several cases of fake prize bonds took place where frauds sold fake prize bonds to citizens. That’s why making sure the prize bond is original before purchasing is essential. But then the questions arise about how to check fake prize bonds or how you can tell if a prize bond is real.
You may verify your prize bond online by comparing the following instructions to determine whether it is authentic or fake. You must do the prize bond checking procedures listed below to prevent being duped by a fraudulent prize bond.
