According to sources, International Monetary Fund or IMF delegation will visit Islamabad for IMF bailout discussions.
IMF delegation is coming Pakistan to discuss the possible IMF loan to Pakistan. According to Dr Khaqan Najeeb, the adviser and spokesman for the Ministry of Finance, the IMF delegation will meet officials of the ministry, the Federal Board of Revenue and the State Bank during its visit. However, both sides will discuss the possibility of a $7 to $8 billion loan for Pakistan.
Earlier, former Finance Minister Asad Umar revealed that IMF loan to Pakistan is now finalized and will be around $6 to 8 billion. He further added that the talks with the World Bank and IMF were positive. However, Pakistan will receive the funds from the Asian Development Bank and World Bank.
On the other side, Regarding IMF Loan to Pakistan, India argued that Pakistan is under the scrutiny of FATF or Financial Action Task Force. They warned IMF to stay away from the bailout as Pakistan is also in the greylist for terror financing.
