Investment in Pakistan: China, Pak signed 8 MoUs worth $100m


China and Pakistan signed 8 different Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) that will bring the $100m investment in Pakistan.

8 MoUs are signed to bring $100 million investment in Pakistan in different key sectors. Pakistan and China are agreed for the mutual investment in the pharmaceutical, steel, agriculture, and seafood.

14 private organizations from both the countries signed MoUs for the joint ventures and mutual investment. However, it will enhance business and trade between both countries.

Economic and Commercial Counselor of China Embassy, Wang Zhihua, revealed that Pakistan is a friendly country. He further added that they believe in peaceful con-existence and cooperation for shared property.

Wang Zhihua said that the China Pakistan Economic Corridor or CPEC under One belt one road enhanced the cooperation and mutual relations between both countries. He further added that China and Pakistan are negotiating phase -II of Free Trade Agreement (FTA) to grow trade and providing free trade opportunity in their respective markets.
