Peshawar: The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa decided to not reveal the KP Budget 2018-19.
The provincial budget for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa KP Budget 2018-19 will not be revealed in the provincial assembly. Shaukat Yousafzai, KP government official said that the decision was taken as opposition parties were not showing their support and interest in the KP Budget 2018-19.
According to sources, there is some another reason for non-revealing of the budget. However, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) does not have a majority in the provincial assembly. In addition, they have just 42 MPAs in the provincial assembly. However, it is expected that the caretaker government would present the budget for 4 months.
It is noted that remaining three provinces already revealed their provincial budgets. Balochistan announced Rs. 352.3 billion for budget 2018-19. Punjab announced Rs. 856 million for the same fiscal year. However, Sindh government revealed the budget 2018-19 of Rs. 1.14 trillion.
