Miftah Ismail Denies Chances of Financial Emergency in Pakistan


Islamabad: Miftah Ismail, Finance Minister, said that there is no chance of financial emergency in Pakistan.

Miftah Ismail said that despite the fact that the economy of Pakistan was not doing too well, it was not doing gravely either. He furher added that Pakistan has procured a long haul credit of US$1 billion from the commercial bank of the country which is a friend of Pakistan.

On the current spike in the dollar, Ismail said that there was no other choice accessible. Featuring the announced relief in the Budget 2018-19, Miftah Ismail said it would help build the tax base and to strengthen the national progress.
