The Ministry of Finance after consultation with Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) notified the new pricing of the fuel following international fluctuation in the crude oil prices or its valuation in the local currency. This is the third time that the fuel rates have increased in the past six weeks.
The adjustment is with Pakistan’s fortnightly fuel price review policy, which it uses to compute domestic prices in terms of international developments of oil market prices and the fluctuations of exchange rates.
Depending on international oil market conditions, the next change in fuel prices expected on August 1, 2025.
