Petrol Price in Pakistan Reduced After Prime Minister’s Approval

Petrol prices in Pakistan have been significantly reduced, following approval from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The Ministry of Finance has issued an official notification detailing the new prices.

According to the notification, the petrol price per liter has been lowered by 6 rupees and 17 paisas. Diesel has seen an even larger reduction of 10 rupees and 86 paisas per liter. Kerosene has been reduced by 6 rupees and 32 paisas per liter, while light diesel has been cut by 5 rupees and 72 paisas per liter.

With these reductions, the new price of petrol per liter is set at 269 rupees and 43 paisas. High-speed diesel now costs 272 rupees and 77 paisas per liter. The price of light diesel is 160 rupees and 53 paisas per liter, and kerosene is priced at 177 rupees and 39 paisas per liter.

These new prices will be effective from midnight and will remain in place for the next 15 days.
