The Government of Pakistan has declared the new prices of petrol and diesel over the next 15 days, effective midnight, October 1, 2025.
Today Petrol Price in Pakistan
According to the Ministry of Finance notification, the petrol price in Pakistan today has been increased by Rs 4.07 per litre. The new petrol price is set at Rs 268.68 per litre.

High-speed diesel has also been raised by Rs 4.04 per litre, taking the new rate to Rs 276.81 per litre. This information is confirmed in the notification that these changes are valid until the first half of October of 2025.
Fuel Price Today and Diesel Update
Alongside the adjustment in petrol, the government has revised diesel prices as well. The fuel price today for diesel stands at Rs 276.81 per litre, effective after midnight.
The increase in today petrol price in Pakistan and diesel has been made on the recommendation of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), keeping in view global oil price movements and currency fluctuations.
LPG Rate Adjustment
The notification also confirmed changes in LPG. The per-kg rate of LPG has been reduced by Rs 6.70 to Rs 207.49, while the domestic 11.8kg cylinder price has been cut by Rs 79.14, setting the new price at Rs 2,448.53.
The government collects petroleum levy, customs duty, and distribution margins on petrol prices in Pakistan, which form part of the final retail price. The revision aligns with fortnightly adjustments carried out based on international market trends.
