Dollar Rate in Pakistan is continuously increasing as USD to PKR ratio has seen a new high today.
USD to PKR or Dollar rate in Pakistan broke all previous records on Thursday (today). In the inter-bank market, Pakistani Rupee continued to decline, shedding an additional Rs 0.54 to the US dollar to be traded at Rs152.10 in the interbank market. Following the rise in the interbank, the US dollar also strengthened in the open market with an Rs 0.40 increase to be sold at Rs 152.40.
Last month, USD to PKR hit Rs 154 in the open market after increasing by Rs 3. On the other side, SBP also raised its key interest rate by 150 basis points to 12.25 percent, citing inflationary pressures, exchange rate depreciation and an elevated fiscal deficit.
