Higher secondary education board Karachi has announced that the Annual Intermediate Examination of the Eleventh and Twelfth Class for 2018 is starting on Tuesday, April 24 2018, in which 194,824 students will be participating.
Details and Timings of Annual Intermediate Examination
According to details, the first phase of the Annual Intermediate Examinations in Karachi is starting from April 24, till May 17. In these examinations, 1 lac 94 thousand 824 students will participate in the morning and evening shifts.
Morning shift will be from morning 9:00 am to 12:00 pm for Science Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, Science General, Home Economics. There will be examination of medical technology groups in which 1 lac 11 thousand 887 talents Students will attend, while evening shift will be examination of commerce regular and commerce private groups from 2 am to 5.00 pm, in which 82 thousand 937 candidates will attend.
Preparations for Convenience of Students and Prevention of Cheating
Total 221 exam centers have been set up for Annual Intermediate Examination of 2018 for the morning and evening shifts of which 64 examination centers have been declared highly sensitive. Secondary Education Board Karachi Chairman said that all the preparations have been completed for the exams.
For the peaceful and uninterrupted holding of examinations and for the convenience of students, they have contacted the Interior Ministry, Additional Chief Secretary of Universities and Board of Government Sindh, Secretary to Government of Sindh Colleges, Commissioner Karachi, DG Rangers, IG.
They have also written letters to the police, electric and water boards so that that during the examinations, peace and security of the exam centers can be made possible and uninterrupted supply of water and electricity is available. He said special arrangements are being done this year to prevent cheating and dealing with any unpleasant incident in the examination. And two preventive cells have been made in Karachi.
Chairman board said that according to the instructions of Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, there will be no permission to take any cell phone for anyone including Invigilators, Center Control Officers, Center Superintendents, Exam Staff, Teachers and Students in the examination centers.
