BIEK Exam 2025 Likely Postponed Due to Inter-Board Chairman Absence

The upcoming biek exam date 2025 might face unexpected delays as the Karachi Inter Board continues to function without a permanent chairman. Misbah Tunio, who was recently appointed by the Sindh government as the new Chairman of the Karachi Inter Board, has reportedly declined to take charge.

In her absence, Sharaf Ali Shah, the current chairman of the Matric Board, had been temporarily assigned the additional responsibility. However, this arrangement hasn’t improved the situation, and students are growing increasingly concerned about the uncertainty.

According to board sources, students in Karachi have still not received their exam schedules or admit cards for the intermediate examinations. The biek exam date 2025, initially set to begin from April 28 for 11th and 12th graders across Sindh, may now be affected due to this administrative vacuum.

Adding to the confusion, the list of finalized exam centers in Karachi has not been released yet. Board insiders claim that the entire examination process is at risk of mismanagement if a permanent chairman is not appointed soon.

Furthermore, the decision to award extra marks to 11th-grade students has also been put on hold. The Sindh government has yet to issue an official notification regarding these additional marks. And once that notification is issued, the process of awarding marks will reportedly take at least 25 more days to complete — possibly pushing the biek exam date 2025 even further.

Students and parents are now demanding immediate action from the authorities to resolve the administrative crisis before it severely disrupts the academic calendar.
