BISE Lahore Announces New Date for 9th Class Exams 2024

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has announced a change in the schedule for the 9th class (SSC Part-I) exams. This rescheduling is due to the upcoming observance of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) on September 17, 2024. Initially, the exams were set for that date, but the board has postponed them to accommodate the holiday.

According to BISE Lahore’s official notification, exams for subjects such as education, history, food and nutrition, Al-Quran, geometry, and technical drawing will now take place on September 19, 2024. The adjustment was made following the declaration of September 17 as a gazetted holiday to honor Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).

The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee confirmed that Eid Milad-un-Nabi will fall on September 17 and there will be a public holiday on eid milad un nabi in Pakistan.
