The Karachi Matric Exams 2025 for both 9th and 10th class students are all set to begin on Tuesday, April 8, and the city is gearing up with full arrangements to make the process smooth and secure. So far, 499 exam centers have been established across various areas of Karachi to accommodate thousands of students appearing in these board exams.
According to Zaheeruddin Bhutto, the Controller of Examinations, a whopping 375,000 students from both Science and General Groups—including regular and private candidates—will be taking part in the Matric Exams 2025 in Karachi. Among the centers, 256 are for boys and 243 are for girls, and these include both government and private schools.
Matric Exam Centers in Karachi 2025 Divided Across 18 Towns
To ensure safe and efficient exam delivery, 19 hub centers have been created in 18 different towns of Karachi, where board officers will be actively involved in paper distribution and management. These centers will act as key locations for secure exam handling during the 9th and 10th class exams in Karachi.
Strict Instructions for Students: No Phones or Cheating Material Allowed
Students are being reminded to strictly follow the rules. No mobile phones or electronic devices will be allowed inside the exam centers. If caught, the devices will be confiscated immediately. The board has also made it clear: bringing any kind of cheating material is strictly prohibited.
Clear signage will be placed outside each exam center, guiding students about the rules and expected behavior during the Matric exams 2025 in Karachi.
Section 144 to Be Imposed Around Examination Centers
To prevent any outside interference, the board has requested implementation of Section 144 around all exam centers. Letters have been sent to officials including the Commissioner Karachi, DG Rangers, Additional IG, and education departments. This means that unauthorized individuals will not be allowed near the centers, and photocopy shops nearby must remain closed during exam timings.

To keep everything under control, a dedicated reporting cell will be set up at the Board Office, ensuring real-time updates and monitoring throughout the Karachi Matric Board Exams 2025.
