Educational Institutions Remain Closed Across Pakistan On Friday (Today)

On Friday, educational institutions across the country will remain closed due to the ongoing protests and road blockades.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Punjab and Sindh and Balochistan, private educational institutions are declared to remain closed.

Private schools in Karachi are stated to be closed today as well, according to a statement released by the All Sindh Private Schools Association.

According to a notification released by Punjab government�s Higher Education Department, all public and private universities and colleges across Punjab will remain closed on 2nd November.

The supplementary exams that were happening under Punjab Secondary Education Board for Intermediate on November 2 and 3 have also been postponed too. The spokesperson for the Punjab government added that new dates will be announced later.

The protests started on 31st of October when the Supreme Court verdict acquitted Asia Bibi from the blasphemy case, reported against her.
