KARACHI: Sindh Education Department has recommended extension in summer vacations due to elections.
The provincial education department has sent a summary to the Federal Ministry seeking extension in summer vacation. The recommendation was sent keeping in view the upcoming dates of election that is 25th July.
The recommendation states that the vacations be extended till 27th of July as all teachers will be busy in electoral process.
Due to the teachers partaking in the electoral process, it would not be possible for them to hold regular classes. The summary has been sent to the caretaker government for approval.
The Sindh Government had announced summer holidays early on May 14 to July 16. The early announcement was owed to the heatwave and holy month of Ramadan to give relief to students.
