Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad will perform the groundbreaking of Federal Urdu University Hyderabad on Thursday (today).
Federal Urdu University Hyderabad groundbreaking ceremony will be held today at PM Secretariat at 4pm. Along with PM Imran Khan, Karachi Mayor Wasim Akhtar, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, MPAs and MNAs of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan will also be present at the ceremony.
Last week, PM Imran Khan gave go ahead to the Federal Urdu University Hyderabad during his visit to Karachi. On the other side, Syed Sardar Shah, the Sindh Education Minister, revealed that nothing can happen based on the prime minister’s announcement and the Sindh Assembly will have to be approached for the establishment of the university.
