The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has officially announced the Intermediate Part 2 results for the Science General Group Annual Exams 2024, bringing good news for students who were eagerly waiting. A total of 14,748 students registered for the exams, out of which 14,534 candidates appeared. The overall pass percentage stood at 48.93%, with 7,112 students successfully clearing the exams.
The top positions claimed by some brilliant students who made their families and schools proud. Maneeha Noor, from Aga Khan Higher Secondary School, secured the first position with 998 marks out of 1100, bagging an A1 grade. Right behind her was Maryam Rasool of Tabaniz College North Nazimabad Campus, who grabbed the second position by scoring 988 marks. Abdullah Chaudhry from Adamji Govt Science College earned the third spot with 980 marks, showcasing his hard work and dedication.
Speaking on the occasion, exam moderator Zareena Rashid shared insights about the results and appreciated the efforts of the students who worked hard despite the challenges. She emphasized that while the pass rate is under 50%, many students have still shown remarkable performance.
