Despite strict rules banning mobile phones in examination halls, many students were caught using their devices to access answers via WhatsApp. This incident highlighted a serious lapse in the Larkana Board’s anti-cheating measures.
Similarly, in Khairpur, the English paper was leaked and widely circulated on WhatsApp prior to the exam. Reports indicate that some invigilators may have aided students in using their phones to solve the paper. This rampant cheating undermines the integrity of the examination process and raises concerns about the effectiveness of current security protocols.
These intermediate exams, which commenced on Wednesday, are scheduled to continue throughout Sindh until June 12. The repeated instances of paper leaks on the first day pose a significant challenge for educational authorities striving to ensure fair and honest assessments.
The situation calls for immediate action from the examination boards to tighten security and uphold the standards of academic evaluation. Enhanced monitoring and stricter enforcement of regulations are essential to prevent further breaches and restore trust in the examination system.
