Hyderabad: For the first time in Pakistan, the board of secondary education in Hyderabad has announced installation of mobile phone jammers at exam centers for first year and inter exams. The board has announced to install jammers in 10 districts including Hyderabad in 50 exam centers that have been listed as highly sensitive. The Central Monitoring Cell of the education board is also going to keep an eye on the 50 highly sensitive exam centers through video using click mating system.
The DIG, Hyderabad has also appointed a focal person at each of these exam centers to make a full proof cheating prevention plan. The use of latest technology and resources for the first year and inter exams has happened for the first time. The education board had also tested the jammer system a few days ago by installing them at a few centers to see the outcome.
Director Masroor Ahmed Zai has said Hyderabad board, for the first time, will keep an eye on the situation of all the exam centers and be updated through video conferencing. Installing jammers is for the purpose of preventing cheating in the first year and inter exams.
