The BSEK has officially announced the Karachi Board 9th Class Result 2025 of the first annual examinations, which happened in April-May 2025. Both the Science Group and the General Group covered in the results, announced on October 22, 2025, at 4:00 PM PKT to the regular and private candidates.
BSEK Result 2025 – Science and General Group Passing Ratios
As per the official data on the BSEK result 2025 statistics, Science Group showed the highest pass rate of 78.26, with a total of 177,660 students enrolled, 175,511 students appearing and 137,350 students passing the examination. The General Group had a 54.38 percent pass rate with the registered being 15,954, appearing 14,984 and almost 8,152 passed.
Chairman Ghulam Hussain Sohu emphasized that transparency and merit were the core focus in the evaluation process. The announcement ceremony attended by Controller of Examinations Dr. Hamzo Khan Tagar and Result Committee members, who highlighted that results processed under strict quality checks.

To qualify, students must secure at least 33% marks in each subject with a minimum total of 181 out of 550 marks. The Board of Secondary Education Karachi result can also be downloaded in PDF form through the official gazette available on the BSEK portal.
