Karachi Board Announces Inter Annual Exams Starting from June 1st
The Chairman of the Karachi Intermediate Education Board, Professor Nasim Memon, has officially declared that the annual exams for Inter part I and part II will kick off from June 1st, 2024. This announcement includes a range of subjects like Science Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, Science General, and Home Economics groups.
Over 139,000 students are gearing up to participate in these exams across Karachi. What’s new this time is that the results for Inter part I will be released before part II, and all results will be out by August 31st.
To ensure smooth and transparent exams, the Board has set up 179 examination centers across the city, with 26 of them being highly sensitive. These centers will be closely monitored to prevent any malpractices during exams.
Moreover, the Board has taken several steps to provide a conducive environment for students. They have arranged for water coolers at exam centers to beat the summer heat. Additionally, first aid boxes, necessary medicines, and ambulances will be available in case of emergencies.
Strict measures have been put in place to discourage cheating. Mobile phones, tablets, laptops, and electronic devices are strictly prohibited in exam centers. Any student found violating this rule will face disqualification for up to three years.
For the first time, QR codes have been introduced on answer sheets to enhance transparency and prevent leaks.

With these preparations in place, the Karachi Intermediate Education Board aims to conduct fair and successful exams for all students.
